Sun, seed, earth, water. That’s it. Schoepp Seeds brings heirloom garden seeds to a new generation of gardeners, art lovers, and gift shoppers. Founded by Wisconsin folk musician Trapper Schoepp, the line pairs timeless, GMO-free seed varieties with clean, art-forward packaging designed to stand out at checkout and in curated displays.
Created in collaboration with New York’s Bentley Seeds — a trusted freshcrop supplier since 1975 — each packet includes simple planting instructions and a QR code linking to Trapper’s seeds and music. It’s a small packet with a big story.
A descendant of the King of Sweden’s gardener Olof Johnson, Schoepp grew up with gardening in his roots. The internationally touring songwriter — and youngest artist to co-write with Bob Dylan on “On, Wisconsin” — launched the seeds alongside his 2021 album May Day, inspired by agricultural tradition and renewal.
